About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Developer to join our Content Delivery team.
This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, reliable backend services/workers to support our innovative communications platform. You will work in a collaborative, Agile environment, contributing to architecture improvements, scalability enhancements, and system robustness.

You’ll work closely with software developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.

From the Hiring Manager

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development (approximately 80% backend, 20% frontend).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5–6 years of professional experience as a fullstack developer
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and SQL
  • Excellent English communication skills (highly important)

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and efficient SQL development
  • Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining scalable microservices
  • Experience working with Node.js and other JavaScript frameworks
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AWS cloud services
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot in daily workflows
  • Open-source contributions or personal tech side projects

Soft Skills:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently across time zones
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to explore new technologies and best practices
  • Ownership mindset in Agile/Scrum environments

Product and Agile Experience:

  • Experience working in SaaS product development
  • Ability to handle observability, performance tuning, and technical debt remediation

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements
  • Build scalable and high-performance backend and frontend solutions
  • Ensure system scalability and performance to handle large user bases
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code
  • Implement thorough testing practices, ensuring functionality and data integrity
  • Apply robust security measures to protect sensitive user data
  • Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry standards
