Project Description

We are actively seeking a talented and self-driven DataBricks Analyst & Developer to take full ownership of end-to-end tasks, ensuring the successful execution of projects according to the established timelines and delivering high-quality results.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of DataBricks projects, from design and development to deployment and optimization

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for DataBricks tasks, overseeing the
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and deadlines.

DataBricks Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust DataBricks solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, data quality, and system performance.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Create and maintain a detailed project plan, tracking progress and adjusting timelines as necessary.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement rigorous testing procedures to guarantee the quality, reliability, and accuracy of DataBricks solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and implement continuous improvement measures.

Performance Optimization:

  • Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks in DataBricks workflows.
  • Optimize processes to enhance overall system efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DataBricks Developer with a track record of end-to-end task ownership.
  • Strong proficiency in Apache Spark and DataBricks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Experience / willing to learn the R shiny app

Preferred Skills:

  • DataBricks certification is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective DataBricks integrations.)
