Our client is looking for an Enterprise Architect – European Commission-EUIN183

Location: hybrid but needs to be located in Brussels

The Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety, until2014 known as the Directorate-General for Health and Consumers, is a directorate-general of the European Commission. The DG is responsible for the monitoring and implementation of European Union policies and laws on health and food safety

Nature of Tasks:

  • Create business architecture models that reflect the European Health
  • Data Space strategies and goals, with the use of the Enterprise Architect
  • Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with
  • business strategies and drivers, and management priorities
    Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
  • Propose and investigate the architecture components solutions which
  • could meet the business architecture needs
    Put in place architecture blueprints, practical integration steps and
  • propose test approaches to verify adequate integration
    Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
  • Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities
  • Conduct research to find ways to improve operations
  • Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan

Requirements

Must Have’s:

  • Master’s Degree in IT/Tech
  • At least 8 years of specific expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as Zachman, TOGAF, COBIT, and actual experience developing and building models
  • At least 10 years of specific expertise in enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN, or UML
  • At least 8 years of specific expertise in enterprise architecture tools such as Enterprise Architect
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in working with Confluence and Jira
  • At least 2 years of specific expertise in digital health systems

Self-Assessment Questions:
