Our client, based in the US, is a fast-growing startup building SaaS product. It is a business management platform that is sold to CPA / Accounting firms in the US.

The product is Live in production with over 1,200+ users using it every day as a critical part of running their business.

The team is looking for a Mid-level QA Engineer to join them in the Czech Republic.

You will join a team of close-knit developers working on the product. The CTO cares about the team wants people to love their job and is looking for colleagues who are passionate about what they are working on.

This role will be hands-on and will be the primary QA person for a team building out new features and functionality as well as bug fixes and enhancements for a SAAS software product.

This role will be in daily meetings with the team and we design and develop features for the product. The team is Agile and testing happens as features are finished up. Work with the team during planning meetings to understand and ask questions about the features, test them, and verify they work after the release.

While automated testing experience is NOT required, we do have some automation tests in place and are willing to dedicate some of this person’s time to learning this framework and building out more automated tests.

This is a full-time direct hire 40-hour-a-week remote job.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manual testing

Requirements

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of QA experience in software
  • Hands-on exploratory testing experience
  • Great English communication skills (the CTO is based in the US)

Required Soft Skills

  • Takes initiative and works to move the project forward even when stakeholders may not be available
  • Work in a team environment
  • Problem-solving, excited to tackle new problems

Self-Assessment Screening Questions:

  • Do you have at least 3 years of experience with software QA?
  • Do you have experience with test automation? (at least a hobby project)
  • Is your English good enough to communicate with the CTO who’s in the USA?
  • Are you based in the Czech Republic or nearby so you can meet colleagues in Prague/Brno/Ostrava?
