We are looking for an experienced VP of Engineering to be based on-site with a team in Slovakia or Brno (CZ) with proven experience managing teams of product engineers.

As the Vice President of Engineering, you should work with the team on-site in Bratislava, Slovakia — relocation is possible! You will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee activities in the Engineering and Development department, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees by company policy.

Requirements

  • At least 10-12 years of professional experience in IT
  • Experience managing software teams (30-40+ people)
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science
