  • Development of electronic control units for powertrain applications (electric, hybrid, or internal combustion engines);
  • Focus on topics like vehicle communication and diagnostics;
  • Acting as a software system designer in the field of engine control;
  • Shape the future, through creating specifications based on customer requirements;
  • Plan and structure, being responsible for the management of customer change requests;
  • Implement reliably, be responsible for the configuration of the software as well as for commissioning and testing;
  • Evaluate in a structured way, undertaking problem analysis and debugging;
  • Working in international teams.


  • Language skills: English fluent;
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Automation Electronics and Telecommunications, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable;
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in Software Development for Embedded Systems;
  • You have experience with C/C++ for programming micro-controllers;
  • Communication protocols are well known to you;
  • You know Software Development Principles (V-Model, Agile, Configuration Management Requirements Management, etc.);
  • Technologies and standards you can get in contact with: AUTOSAR, Microcontroller programming, Hardware-Based Software: Embedded OS, Multicore MCU, System Control, PCIe Ethernet, CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, XCP, UDS, Model-Based Software Development: Matlab–Simulink, Ascet, Knowledge of ASPICE, Linux (QNX), ISO26262.
