Role Description

The scope of this position is Global since the implications and interactions include the Global IT team, people from other customer’s functions, and connections to external partners and vendors.

This position requires strong collaboration and partnership capabilities to interact with members of the Global IT team located in different countries to ensure financial operation continuity and services continuity; The position will have to interact with external service providers to ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.

We are looking for a new coworker, who knows:

  • To manage the accounting operation of IT global solutions operational expenses and capitalized projects’ costs.
  • Provide support in managing and controlling the allocation drivers to recharge corporate costs to the Business Groups.
  • Respond to the purchase order requests from the IT Global Team and provide the PO numbers to the vendors directly.
  • Support other areas with specific accounting/finance requirements, like vendor management, audits, special analysis, and reports.
  • Provide financial support to the IT Corporate team to satisfy all controlling analysis and special requirements.

This position reports to the OCIO Controller. The position will not have subordinates but may have to coordinate external services from third parties.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Finance Coordinator responsibilities include the following:

  • Controls the allocations of corporate costs to the Business groups and the Affiliated companies.
  • Performing the monthly accounting processes required for the recurring IT costs.
  • Monthly follow-up on IT spent, ensuring close monitoring of variances and follow-up with responsible areas.
  • Keeps a contract financial control of the main IT corporate providers to support cost optimization and the proper backup for contract renewals.
  • Coordinates with IT team members to ensure contract and vendor management processes for IT are being followed.
  • Support in financial matters for IT Corporate projects towards the IT team, the organization, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures IT Controlling decisions are aligned with corporate policies, processes, and practices.
  • Elaborate Purchase Orders as required, ensuring the PO request process is followed and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Provide the support documentation required for internal, external, local, and foreign audits.

Other responsibilities:

  • Control and operate a budget of approximately 60 USM.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and legal policies and processes in the Corporate entity

Requirements:

Education and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Administration
  • Knowledge of international financial accounting standards and regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP financial operations and reports
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel and O365 suite
  • Knowledge of budget control processes
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Feels comfortable working in global environments with different business cultures

Professional experience requirements:

  • 1.5+ years of experience in accounting operations, management, and consolidation of different account ledgers and in IFRS
  • Proven experience defining and establishing financial processes
  • Prior experience working in a multinational company desirable in IT environments and with intangible assets
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse global businesses and stakeholders
  • Experience in managing communication with vendors
  • Experience in financial cost and expense projections for bandwidth services
  • Able to comply with financial, tax, and legal policies, standards, and processes
  • Able to collaborate in global environments with different profile peers and team members
  • The ability to uphold the goals and culture of the organization
  • Ability to plan and organize workloads to ensure deadlines are followed
  • Openness to, and the ability to deal with, rapid change in business needs and processes
