As the company enters its next stage of growth, they’re looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define the technology strategy, build a world-class engineering organisation, and lead the development of a global platform from the ground up.

Your Impact

As CTO, you will:

  • Define and execute the company’s long-term technology vision and strategy
  • Build, scale, and inspire a high-performing global engineering organisation
  • Design secure, scalable cloud-native platform architecture
  • Lead engineering excellence, innovation, and technical decision-making
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop senior engineering leaders
  • Partner closely with Product and Executive Leadership to shape the roadmap
  • Oversee platform infrastructure, security, and reliability
  • Drive architecture decisions across frontend, backend, cloud, and blockchain technologies
  • Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the platform scales to support rapid global growth

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of software engineering experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on technical leadership
  • 5+ years leading large engineering organisations
  • 3+ years building products in Web3, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, or Digital Assets
  • Proven experience designing and scaling cloud-native platforms
  • Strong expertise in distributed systems and modern software architecture
  • Experience hiring, mentoring, and growing senior engineering leaders
  • Outstanding communication and executive leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering
  • Experience building products from concept to global scale
  • AI-enabled product experience
  • Experience with decentralised applications (dApps)
  • Background in social platforms, creator economy, or digital communities
  • Startup or high-growth technology company experience

Compensation & Benefits

🇺🇸 United States

  • USD $300,000–450,000 Base Salary
  • Executive Performance Bonus
  • Significant Equity / Token Package

🇪🇺 Europe

  • EUR €180,000–280,000 Base Salary
  • Executive Bonus
  • Equity Package
