This is an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) to enable teams to build modern infrastructure and pipelines for a startup in the amazing field of AI and CVML software products.The position is remote: expect to spend a few days at the Heidelberg offices every quarter.Preference is given to candidates in the same time zone (+/- 2h) as Germany.

Requirements:

Strong experience / knowledge in / on:

8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer;
Experience as a lead developer or a software architect within a fully functional team;
Py`thon and other higher-level programming languages;
Relational and document-oriented database systems;
Cloud computing and services (AWS is a plus);
Modern software development tools and methodology;
Object-oriented programming;
Concurrency and parallelism;
Participate in architecture design.

Responsibilities:

Planning and estimations of software in an agile environment;
Communication skills for collaborating with other teams and clients;
Existing working visa for Germany / Blue Card;
Experiences with annotations, computer vision, machine learning;
Experience in frontend development (React);
Excitement for algorithms and algorithmic efficiency.

Tasks
