The Enterprise program is a significant transformation initiative for the client. It involves implementing consistent, industry-standard business processes supported by integrated systems (SAP-based enterprise solutions) across customer sites worldwide. This large-scale, global program will be implemented in the coming years in over 60 countries and 70 plants.

Responsibilities:

As an SAP QM Consultant, you will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our Quality Management processes by leveraging your expertise in SAP QM modules.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure successful implementation and integration within the SAP landscape.

As an ERP functional consultant, you are in charge of:

  • You will provide consulting support to customers on Quality Management and Quality Planning processes in SAP
  • You will capture and translate business needs into functional specifications
  • You will be assisting in the testing process in order to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation, or user’s lack of experience
    Integrating business requirements and technology (from user cases to go-live support)
  • You will be responsible for gathering requirements from users (changes, customizations)
  • Your functional expertise will be needed to deliver the different projects with high quality and on time

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document quality management requirements.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

SAP QM Module Implementation:

  • Configure, customize and implement SAP QM modules to meet business needs.
  • Provide expertise in SAP QM functionality, including inspections, quality planning, and defect management.

Integration and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other SAP modules and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with global teams to standardize and harmonize SAP QM processes across regions.

End-to-End Rollouts:

  • Demonstrate experience in successfully executing end-to-end SAP QM rollouts.
  • Lead and participate in all phases of SAP project lifecycles, from design to deployment.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP QM functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP QM, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the SAP QM landscape.
  • Stay abreast of SAP best practices and updates to recommend and implement enhancements.

Requirements

PM knowledge is nice to have

Strong experience (at least 5+ years of project work preferred) in SAP QM & SAP PM & Calibration process implementation (not just support) in large/global projects

Strong business knowledge of PM-QM Calibration processes in pharma (strongly preferred) or similar industries.

Ability to lead design work, gathering requirements, directly supporting end users (heavy emphasis on master data, QM-calibration data migration support)

Strong functional and techno-functional knowledge in QM area is a must (+ additionally PM area is strongly preferred)– we have significant, more complex enhancements in the area of calibration that the candidate will need to quickly assimilate knowledge on that is built on the standard functionality.

Independently able to lead and drive his or her tasks per project plan

Experience executing configuration & authoring configuration design documents (CSD), and functional design documents (WRICEF) and independently managing review & approval process of the same with multiple stakeholders

Experience in GxP IT and business environment is very strongly preferred – especially pharma or related industry experience – or the candidate will need to adapt very quickly to a strict environment.

Ability to test configuration, and developments and support our testing team with required testing scenarios, script reviews, test run reviews, etc. – experience with HP ALM preferred

Support all solution preview/business readiness proving (BRP)/system demonstrations/training/user acceptance testing as needed – heavy business interaction, and must be able to clearly communicate SAP processes to a business audience.

Manage cutover task authoring and hypercare period (post-go live) and have flexibility in schedule to support go live.
