The Enterprise program is a significant transformation initiative for the client. It involves implementing consistent, industry-standard business processes supported by integrated systems (SAP-based enterprise solutions) across customer sites worldwide. This large-scale, global program will be implemented in the coming years in over 60 countries and 70 plants.

Responsibilities:

As an SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant (Pharmaceuticals-Advantage), you will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and optimizing SAP solutions to meet the specific needs of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.

Your expertise in SAP PP modules will contribute to the seamless integration of business processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and the successful execution of production plans

Requirement Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze production planning requirements (Pharmaceuticals-Advantage.)
  • Identify key challenges and opportunities for process improvement in the production planning domain.

SAP PP Implementation:

  • Led the design and implementation of SAP PP modules based on the global solution for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Configure SAP PP settings to meet the unique requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, including batch management, material requirements planning (MRP), and production orders.

Integration with Other Modules:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP consultants to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution).

Master Data Management:

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of master data related to production planning, including bills of materials (BOMs), work centers, and production versions.

Business Process Optimization:

  • Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvement within the pharmaceutical production planning lifecycle.
  • Provide recommendations for best practices and continuous improvement.

Training and Documentation:

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide comprehensive documentation for SAP PP processes and functionalities.
  • Ensure that end-users are proficient in utilizing SAP PP tools and features.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing support for SAP PP-related issues and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the support team to resolve production planning issues promptly.

Compliance and Validation:

  • Ensure that SAP PP configurations and processes comply with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Participate in validation activities to meet pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Project Management

Global Implementation:

  • Oversee the global implementation of SAP PP, ensuring consistency in processes and configurations across multiple sites.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to address localization needs while maintaining adherence to the global template.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographic locations to ensure successful SAP PP implementation and adherence to global standards.
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing among global teams.
  • Participate in SAP PP rollout projects to additional sites, ensuring consistency with the global template.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of SAP upgrades to keep the global template current and aligned with the latest functionalities.
  • Establish and enforce master data governance principles for SAP PP, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the global landscape.

Compliance and Validation:

  • Implementations and template design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-6 years of SAP PP configuration experience
  • Design, configuration, and testing of core QM modules
  • Functional experience in manufacturing organizations.
  • Preference – integration to automatic warehouse systems
  • Preference – integration to 3rd party WMS systems
  • Preference – experience in PP or WM.
  • Pharmaceutical experience – preferred
  • Upper-intermediate English – writing, reading, and speaking
