We are looking for our customer for a skilled Senior Data architect with a B2B contract fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective cloud data models in Azure Datalake & Azure Databricks to store and retrieve company data.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across data models.
  • Develop and enforce development standards.
  • Architect and model Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI and Analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data integration processes, and data warehousing solutions to support BI and Analytics initiatives.
  • Implement and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate and timely data availability for BI and Analytics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data architecture, data science, or data analysis roles.
  • Expertise in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) with a deep understanding of data warehouse structures and solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Extensive experience in architecting, modelling, and supporting BI and Analytics solutions, including developing data models and implementing scalable data warehousing strategies.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing ETL processes and data integration workflows to ensure seamless data operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and SQL warehouse management.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI) to provide actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field; MSc/MA – will be prefered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Certification in data management or data architecture (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF)
