Our customer is a global container shipping company established in 1945 and headquartered in Haifa, Israel. As one of the leading carriers in the global container shipping industry, they operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that connects businesses and markets worldwide.

We are looking for a creative, skilled, and professional individual who is experienced in analyzing and implementing financial SAP modules, designing new processes, and developing SAP-based solutions.

You will work with the company, which operates an extensive global network with direct services and agreements with other leading carriers, providing comprehensive shipping solutions across major trade routes. The company manages a diverse fleet of vessels and container types to accommodate various cargo needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new financial SAP enhancements and customizations while providing the best solutions to the requirements.
  • Write system requirements documents (SRD) for new enhancements and new projects.
  • Enhance and /or confirm business requirements documents (BRD) for new enhancements and new projects in the HO.
  • Document processes and enhancements in SAP tools such as Solution Manager.
  • Responsible for ongoing production stability.
  • Provide time estimation for new analysis and implementation for new requests.
  • Perform unit testing.
  • Implement new projects’ development according to the set project scope, keeping within due dates and resources.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in SAP FI implementation in relevant modules.
  • S4 HANA knowledge and implementation experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in the FI module and its sub-modules — AR, AP, GL, AA, and BK — is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient understanding of Business processes in relevant SAP modules.
  • High level of Business English, both written and verbal.
  • An academic degree in Economics or Accounting is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a global company, an Advantage.
