A leading global agriculture company is seeking an experienced SAP Authorization Consultant to take full ownership of the organization’s authorization landscape.
The role includes analysis, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP authorizations, while serving as the professional focal point and future leader of the authorization domain.
This position operates within a global environment and involves daily collaboration with teams and colleagues from diverse cultures and countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, implement, and maintain the SAP authorization model across SAP ECC.
  • Lead the authorization module on the SAP S/4HANA project.
  • Design, build, and maintain authorization roles (PFCG), working with business stakeholders to define requirements.
  • Work deeply with Authorization Objects, parameters, and authorization structures.
  • Support system developments (including Z developments) by defining authorization requirements, coordinating with developers, and conducting testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex authorization issues.
  • Conduct authorization reviews and support Audit and Compliance requirements.
  • Participate in cross-organizational SAP projects and apply authorization hardening as needed.
  • Lead the authorization domain professionally and establish best-practice methodologies.
  • Potential future responsibility to build and lead an authorization team.
  • Collaborate regularly with global teams and stakeholders across multiple regions.

Requirements:

Must have:

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Authorization management
  • Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA
  • High-level English proficiency for daily interaction in a global environment.
  • PFCG, Role Design & Role Build
  • Authorization Objects and Concepts
  • Good functional understanding of key SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, and others).
  • Strong understanding of development processes and experience defining authorizations for Z developments.

Nice to have:

  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex authorization issues.
  • Experience with GRC, SoD, or Audit tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from various cultures.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, service-minded, and capable of leading processes.
  • Ability to take ownership of the authorization domain and drive professional excellence.
