We are looking for a BI Analytics Product Owner&PMO for our customer a leader in the pharmaceutical segment with head office in Israel.

It involves implementing consistent, industry-standard business processes supported by integrated systems (SAP-based enterprise solutions) worldwide.

The BI Analytics Product Owner & PMO will be responsible for driving BI and advanced analytics strategy, leveraging standard tools (SAP BI, Azure Databricks, Power BI, Qlik).

Working closely with key business leaders and their teams, the Product Owner & PMO will have primary responsibility for managing BI and Analytics solutions implementation and roadmap.

The Product owner and PMO will also serve as a key leader and evangelist in the IT for the evolution of BI capabilities using BI technology.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive Business Intelligence (BI) and advanced analytics strategies that align with companie’s business strategies and maximize the business’s value.
  • Work closely with end users to define reporting and analytics requirements, convert them into functional specifications, assess them against standard business content, and determine the required BI solutions.
  • Develop and oversee the product roadmap, ensuring the prioritization of key initiatives.
  • Work closely with members of the global BI delivery team to ensure BI projects are delivered on time and within budget, oversee project activities, project resources, and budget, project risks and mitigations, resolve issues, and remove obstacles to ensure project continuity.
  • Work in alignment with companie’s Data Governance Strategy, and advance implementation of Data Catalog including lineage and data quality governance capabilities.
  • Act as a BI subject matter expert supporting business teams and IT SHMs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Industrial engineering, Information Systems, economics or similar graduate)
  • 3-4 years of experience in Product Management or Project Management
  • 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence systems (SAP BI, Azure Databricks, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools is an advantage (such as DataRobot, Azure Databricks data science tools)
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and their integration with BI tools.
  • Very good practice of English, fluently spoken and written.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong relationship/consulting skills. High level of communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with different styles and identify and communicate needs.
  • Thorough understanding of leading BI design and development processes including ability to quickly learn and understand critical data/information needs in the business.
  • Project management skills including agile project management.
  • Familiar working with partners in on-site off-shore delivery model
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or life science industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced global multinational matrix organization
  • Strong change management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Hands-on and proactive; strong organizational skills
  • Results-driven and service-oriented to internal and external customers
