The BI Analytics Product Owner & PMO will be responsible for driving the BI department and advanced analytics strategy, leveraging the company’s Enterprise standard tools (SAP BI, Azure Databricks, Power BI, Qlik).

Working closely with key business leaders and their teams, the Product Owner & PMO will have primary responsibility for managing BI and Analytics solutions implementation and roadmap.

The role involves leading analytics initiatives in the procurement domain, with knowledge of BI and AI environments.

The position includes working closely between the business and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders and IT SHMs to drive Business Intelligence (BI) and advanced analytics strategies that align with business strategies and maximize the business’s value.
  • Work closely with end users to define reporting and analytics requirements, convert them into functional specifications, assess them against standard business content, and determine the required BI solutions.
  • Develop and oversee the product roadmap, ensuring the prioritization of key initiatives.
  • Work closely with members of the global BI delivery team to ensure BI projects are delivered on time and within budget, oversee project activities, project resources, and budget, project risks and mitigations, resolve issues, and remove obstacles to ensure project continuity.
  • Work in alignment with the company’s Data Governance Strategy, and advance implementation of the Data Catalog, including lineage and data quality governance capabilities.
  • Act as a BI subject matter expert supporting business teams and IT SHMs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Industrial engineering, Information Systems, economics or similar graduate)
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in Product Management or Project Management
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in business intelligence systems (SAP BI, Azure Databricks, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)
  • Expertise in managing BI and Analytics solutions implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools is an advantage (such as DataRobot, Azure Databricks data science tools)
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and their integration with BI tools
  • Ability to gather requirements
  • Translate requirements into a work plan
  • Task prioritization
  • Must have experience in building data strategies (preferable for AI וse)
  • Must have experience with use of data lakes
  • Ability to lead construction of data lake road map using Azure databricks + Sphere
  • Very good practice of English, fluently spoken and writing.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong relationship/consulting skills. High level of communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with different styles and identify and communicate needs.
  • Thorough understanding of leading BI design and development processes, including the ability to quickly learn and understand critical data/information needs in the business.
  • Project management skills, including agile project management.
  • Familiar with working with partners in an on-site, offshore delivery model
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical or life science industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced global multinational matrix organization
  • Strong change management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Hands-on and proactive; strong organizational skills
  • Results-driven and service-oriented to internal and external customers
