We are looking for a skilled Oracle APEX Developer with hands-on experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate combines deep APEX development expertise with the ability to leverage AI-driven APIs and tools to build intelligent, data-driven business solutions on top of Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications tailored to business requirements
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities (e.g., OpenAI, Oracle AI Services, REST-based AI APIs) into APEX workflows and UI components
  • Build intelligent automation features such as smart data entry, predictive analytics, document parsing, and natural language interfaces
  • Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions to support application logic and AI integration layers
  • Connect APEX applications with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP modules via REST/SOAP APIs
  • Optimise SQL queries and application performance for large-scale enterprise datasets
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications
  • Maintain documentation and version control for developed components
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards and best practices
  • Support testing, deployment, and post-production issue resolution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, and REST API integration
  • Experience integrating third-party AI services or Oracle AI/ML cloud services into applications
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS (R12) or Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Financials, SCM, HR)
  • Experience with APEX plug-ins, dynamic actions, and custom UI components
  • Understanding of JSON/XML data structures and web services (REST/SOAP)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Database (19c or later)
  • Ability to analyse business processes and propose AI-enhanced automation solutions
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or OBIEE
  • Familiarity with Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) or chatbot integration
  • Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data processing
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI services (Vision, Language, Document Understanding)
  • Oracle APEX or OCP certification is an advantage
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
