We are seeking a skilled SAP BI/BW Tester to validate data integrity, reporting accuracy, and end-to-end data flows within SAP Business Warehouse (BW) systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data validation, ETL testing, and reporting tools such as SAP BO, HANA, or similar platforms

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for SAP BW/BI systems
  • Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from source systems to BW
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across InfoProviders, ADSOs, DSO, Cubes, and Queries
  • Validate data reconciliation between source systems and BW reports
  • Test BEx Queries, Analysis for Office, SAP BO/BI reports, and dashboards
  • Analyze data models, transformations, DTPs, and process chains
  • Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA/ALM
  • Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Support UAT cycles and production validation
  • Perform performance and volume testing for data loads where required

Requirements

  • Strong experience in SAP BW/BI testing
  • Good understanding of BW objects:
    • InfoObjects
    • ADSO/DSO
    • InfoCubes
    • Transformations & DTPs
    • Process Chains
  • Hands-on experience in data validation and SQL querying
  • Knowledge of ETL testing methodologies
  • Experience with report testing (BI/BEx/BO/Analysis for Office)
  • Ability to perform data reconciliation and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Understanding of SAP HANA (preferred)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP BW/4HANA
  • Knowledge of SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) testing
  • Basic understanding of ABAP debugging (nice to have)
  • Experience with automation testing tools for data validation
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
