We are seeking an experienced SAP BI Senior Consultant to lead the SAP BI rollout to additional markets, ensuring scalable, accurate, and business-aligned reporting solutions.
This role is ideal for a strong SAP BW/HANA expert who combines hands-on technical delivery capabilities with strong business engagement skills, particularly in enterprise reporting domains.
The consultant will be responsible for collecting and analyzing business requirements, designing and delivering SAP BI solutions, enabling end-user adoption through training, and acting as the deployment focal point across PMO governance forums.
A key aspect of the role is driving deployment transparency and execution discipline by clearly communicating rollout progress, risks, and milestones in cross-functional PMO ceremonies.

Responsibilities:

SAP BI Solution Delivery

  • Lead SAP BI rollout activities for new markets, from requirement gathering through deployment and hypercare.
  • Design, develop, and optimize SAP BW on HANA data models, transformations, and data flows.
  • Build scalable and reliable reporting layers supporting enterprise reporting needs.
  • Ensure reporting structures are accurate, performant, auditable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Manage master data, hierarchies, dimensions, and reporting objects with high precision.
  • Develop and optimize SAP HANA views, SQLScript logic, and performance-sensitive reporting components.
  • Support integration with front-end reporting tools, including Analysis for Office, BEx, BusinessObjects, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Business Partnership & Requirements

  • Collect, analyze, and challenge business requirements from market stakeholders.
  • Translate business and reporting needs into stable, scalable SAP BI solutions.
  • Work closely with senior managers and business teams to validate KPIs, logic, and reporting outputs.
  • Ensure consistency between business definitions and system implementation.

Deployment Governance & PMO Communication

  • Serve as the BI deployment focal point for rollout status tracking.
  • Participate in PMO ceremonies, steering meetings, and deployment governance forums.
  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, milestones, and issue resolution status to stakeholders.
  • Provide clear visibility into overall market deployment readiness and delivery health.

Quality, Testing & Enablement:

  • Contribute to BRP, UAT, reconciliation, and production validation cycles.
  • Ensure complete documentation of requirements, technical designs, test evidence, and deployment artifacts.
  • Align delivery with data governance, audit, and compliance standards.
  • Deliver user training on reporting capabilities, best practices, and self-service usage where relevant.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in SAP BW structures and enterprise reporting architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Strong proficiency in SAP HANA, including:
    • Calculation Views

  • Experience with SAP BI front-end tools:

    • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Master data
    • Hierarchies
    • Finance dimensions
    • Audit-ready reporting objects
  • Ability to convert finance requirements into robust BI solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in structured delivery environments with governance and documentation standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SAP BI / SAP BW experience
  • Proven experience in SAP BW on HANA delivery
  • Strong technical background in SAP BW, SAP HANA, and enterprise reporting tools
  • Experience in global rollouts, multi-market deployments, or multinational organizations is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance Systems, or related field
