We are seeking an experienced Senior Copilot Studio Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI-powered conversational solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building Copilot Studio agents, integrating them with business systems using Power Automate Cloud Flows, and leveraging Microsoft Dataverse as the underlying data platform. The role requires a good understanding of AI concepts, enterprise application lifecycle management, deployments, and software development best practices.

Responsibilities

Copilot Studio Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Copilot Studio agents for business use cases.
  • Configure skills, conversational flows, generative AI capabilities, and knowledge sources.
  • Build and optimize conversational experiences that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Integrate Copilot Studio agents with enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Configure authentication, security, and access controls within Copilot solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve conversational, integration, and performance issues.

Power Automate and Integration

  • Develop and maintain complex Power Automate Cloud Flows.
  • Create integrations between Copilot Studio and enterprise applications.
  • Implement approval workflows, automation processes, and orchestration logic.
  • Consume REST APIs, custom connectors, and Microsoft platform services.
  • Design scalable integration patterns aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Dataverse and Data Management

  • Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and data models.
  • Implement data validation and data governance practices.
  • Support integration of Dataverse with enterprise and external data sources.
  • Optimize data structures and solution performance.

Deployment and SDLC

  • Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Support development, test, UAT, and production deployments.
  • Manage solution packaging, releases, and environment promotions.
  • Follow enterprise governance, source control, and application lifecycle management practices.
  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and operational handover activities.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning activities.

AI and Innovation

  • Stay current with Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot capabilities, and emerging trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI-powered solutions.
  • Apply responsible AI principles and relevant organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with architects to evaluate new AI features and capabilities.

Technical Experience

Must Have

  • 5+ years of Power Platform development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Strong experience building and supporting Power Automate Cloud Flows.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and data modeling.
  • Experience building Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven Apps).
  • Experience integrating with SharePoint Online.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs, custom connectors, and HTTP actions.
  • General awareness of artificial intelligence, generative AI, and conversational AI concepts.
  • Experience working with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related services.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management, solution packaging, release management, and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Power Pages and AI Builder.
  • Exposure to Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
  • Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other source control and CI/CD platforms.
  • Relevant Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, AI, or Azure certifications.

Education and Professional Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage.
