We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Salesforce platform. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality releases by testing end-to-end business processes, integrations, and user interfaces across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test plans, document results, and proactively identify issues before they reach production. Your contributions will directly support smoother deployments and greater user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate Salesforce configurations, such as Flows, Process Builders, Validation Rules, and user permissions.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and administrators to ensure full test coverage and shared understanding of feature requirements.
- Test custom developments (e.g., Apex classes, Lightning components) to ensure functionality and coverage.
- Log and track bugs using tools like JIRA, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Document QA processes, including test results, QA sign-offs, and release checklists.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage test environments and assist with test data setup using tools like Data Loader or Workbench.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 1 year of hands-on testing experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and software QA best practices.
- Familiarity with Salesforce core features (custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, flows).
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams.
- Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Salesforce development elements such as Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and custom triggers (testing knowledge, not development).
- Experience testing Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
- Exposure to Salesforce integrations with middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Copado Robotic Testing.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, App Builder) are a plus.
What We Offer:
- Paid Time Off, including vacation, sick days, and public holidays (based on your location)
- Career growth and personal development within an international group
- 100% remote work with a trust-based management culture
- Involvement in international projects only
