Project Description:
The Content Operations Leader will be responsible for managing the end-to-end content lifecycle, ensuring seamless delivery of digital content to production. This role requires a digital and technically savvy individual proficient in various marketing tools and content management systems (CMS). The ideal candidate is a fast learner, able to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Content Management: Oversee the creation, editing, and management of digital content across multiple platforms, including Uniform, Contentful, Webflow, Braze, Adoric, Instapage, and other CMS tools.
● Technical Proficiency: Utilize and stay updated with various digital marketing tools and CMS to ensure efficient and effective content delivery.
● Team Leadership: Lead and manage the content managers/webmasters team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance.
● Content Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end content delivery process, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of digital content.
● Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
● User Experience: Ensure all digital content provides a high-quality user experience, is on-brand, and meets accessibility standards.
● Service Orientation: Maintain a service-oriented mindset, providing excellent support and communication to internal teams and stakeholders.
● Clear Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and clarity on digital initiatives.
● Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technological advancements, quickly learning and integrating new tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in content management, web development, or a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
● Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in leading and developing a team.
● Project Management: Experience in managing digital content projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in CMS tools, HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.
● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
● Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
● Service Orientation: Proven track record of a service-oriented mindset and experience in a similar role.
Nice To Have
● Content Creation: Strong writing and editing skills to create original, high-quality content for the website. This includes producing articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and other written materials that are informative, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with experience in using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
● SEO Knowledge: Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) is essential for a content webmaster. They should understand how to research and incorporate relevant keywords, optimize meta tags, structure content for readability, and improve the website’s ranking in search engine results pages
