We are looking for an experienced Freelance Motion Designer to support our design team with animations for a global mobile app (iOS & Android). Your primary mission will be to translate static UI designs into engaging, lightweight, and fluid vector animations that enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality microinteractions, onboarding animations, and celebratory animations.
- Prepare and optimize files in Lottie (JSON) format to minimize file size and maximize performance on iOS and Android.
- Collaborate closely with the UI/UX team to ensure visual brand consistency.
We would like to see your experience, such as:
- Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects and export plugins (Bodymovin / LottieFiles).
- Deep understanding of Lottie constraints
- Proficiency in vector graphics optimization
- Proven experience in Motion Design and Animation for Mobile UI (mastery of mobile-specific physics, timings, and easings).
- Fluency in Figma for a seamless transition from static assets to motion.
- Basic understanding of mobile technologies (familiarity with coding, mobile render engines, and developer terminology).
Portfolio Requirements:
- Case studies showcasing real-world Lottie implementations in mobile apps (not just video renders).
- Examples of optimization – demonstrating how a complex animation was reduced to a lightweight JSON file.
- A clean, modern animation style that fits the FMCG segment.
