Summary objective of the job:

We’re looking for a Video Encoding Expert – Software Engineer you will collaborate with the Backend and Mobile teams to create a high performance and robust video streaming product.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to building a new live streaming service.

Requirements:

• You understand the low level part of video stack like (decoding, transformation, encoding, networking)
• Know the different video protocols
• Worked on live streaming solutions
• Video encoding experience
• You have contributed to building a live streaming service

Also:

• Work in the US or Western EU timezone
• Focus and 100% dedication to this job, occasional overtime work before a deadline
• Full-time, permanent employment
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors

Selection process:

• A strong GitHub profile is a huge advantage and will accelerate the process.
• Otherwise, we’ll kindly ask you to go through a technical assessment (1-2 hours).
• After the assessment, the team and the CTO will interview you and decide quickly.
